NATIONS FC BEAT LEAGUE LEADERS FC SAMARTEX AT THEIR OWN BACKYARD

Kumasi base team Nations FC today beat league leaders FC Samartex today in week 19 of the ongoing GPL.

The league match that was supposed to come on Sunday 3rd march, 2024 was postponed to today because of heavy rain in Samraboi town, as the match kicked off 10am this morning, Francis Gyentua scored the opener for Nations FC in the 48th minutes and that was enough to secure the 3 points for the away team.

Samartex beat Aduana Stars away in the week 18 game last week and today they face their own side of the defeat at home. Despite losing at home, Samartex is leading the league table with 35 points with Kotoko 32, Nsuatreman at a third position with 30 points whiles Nations move to 4th with 30 points after today’s win.
