A diesel fuel tanker (GT -7720-23) overturned and spilled its contents on the Bibiani-Goaso highway at the Tano Odimasi junction near Amokrom.
According to eyewitness Yaw Salifu, the driver lost control while attempting to avoid another vehicle, likely due to the slippery road surface caused by rainfall.
The Bibiani district police and fire service are on the scene, managing traffic and ensuring safety.
The driver and mate are receiving medical treatment at a nearby hospital.
