SOCIAL: Ka Asempa Kuo launched to boost employment in Bibiani

A new fun club named Ka Asempa Kuo has been launched in Bibiani to help fight the rising numbers of unemployed in the area.

Conceived in May 2023, the club is an initiative by two men; Issac Asamoah (Policeman) and Johnson Tweneboah (One Cide) who came together to form the Social group in an attempt to find solutions to the worrying unemployment situation in the town.

Narrating the rationale behind the formation of the club at the official ceremony to launch it, the Chairperson of the Club, Madam Patient Awuah, said the group exists to unite the people of Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality to pursue a common interest.

She emphasized that the group is not a political group, and neither has its members drawn from any political backgrounds.

The Chairperson also hinted that the Club’s major preoccupation is to find jobs for its members as well as empower members to acquire employable skills.

“Plans are in place to secure employment for more youth across the Municipality. We are, however, telling people that our doors are opened to members who share in our vision.”

The Odikro of Bibiani Ohiampeanika Nana Kwadjo Nyarko also praised the leaders of the club for coming to the area with the idea. He said he believed in the vision of the Club to lobby for jobs for members of the community, among other laudable objectives.
