Prof Alhaji Ben Ali Seaman

Press Release from the Chairman of Patrons for NPP in Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai, who doubles as the Coordinator for Movement for Justice and Equal Right, Professor Alhaji Ben Ali Seaman.

The Press, ladies and gentlemen, we are here today to gather and clarify the facts. It’s time for NPP to reward the hardworking foot soldiers of the party. The famous Alhaji Ben Ali Seaman deserves to be rewarded. I actively contributed to all the victories NPP has achieved in this country. When the NPP was in opposition, the party suffered a lot in the hands of then ruling NDC party, ranging from intimidations and victimizations. In all of these, I stood firm and fought for the party in all angles including participating in national demonstrations with my good friend Sammy Awuku, invoked curses on then Electoral Commissioner on rigging the elections, sent letters to the High commissioners of Togo,Cote D’Ivoire and others to prevent their citizens from entering the country during the general elections and when then candidate Akufo Addo’s bill board was removed from the constituency by then DCE under NDC, a lot of party faithfuls were around but I was the only person who took the bold decision and made sure then DCE faced the law. I received numerous threats from NDC supporters, but that didn’t stop me from fighting for my party.

Ladies and gentlemen, today, I can confidently state that I am one of those individuals who have not experienced any advantages from the party. The appointees under President Akufo Addo’s government sidelined our grassroot members and are now taking care of their friends and family. It’s very difficult to have access to them after winning power. You could spend 12 hours trying to see a minister and during elections, the same people expect you to sacrifice for their selfish interests and personal gains.

Let’s change our ways because this time round,it’s no more “monkey they work, baboo they chop” it’s about new king, new law, we have a different flagbearer in the person of H. E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia and under his Leadership, the unfairness game in NPP will not be tolerated, that is why some of us are going to work so hard to ensure DR. Mahamudu Bawumia wins the general elections, come December 7th.

Finally, Ladies and Gentlemen, I had the opportunity to accompany my able MP on his constituency visitation tour, I informed one of the communities who consistently voted for NDC to examine the numerous projects being carried out by our MP and NPP government in the constituency and reconsider their decisions this time and vote overwhelmingly for Hon. Alfred Obeng Boateng and Alhaji Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia.

Fighting corruption is a collective responsibility. I am appealing to the good people of this country to stand with the Attorney General to ensure that justice prevails in the case involving Hon. Ato Forson.

We must protect the peaceful atmosphere that our country is enjoying today and stop the unnecessary fight on vote transfer and others.

The grassroot participation on campaign trail in various constituencies is necessary for victory in 2024,my humble appeal to NPP national campaign team.

May the Almighty Allah bless us all.
