Accra, Ghana – The Head of Marketing for Frontier Oil Ghana Limited, Mr. Osuman Hamidu, has called on the government to step up the implementation of the 24-hour economy policy to help revitalize businesses in the downstream petroleum sector and stimulate economic growth.

According to him, the full implementation of the policy would enhance productivity, increase employment opportunities and provide the enabling environment needed for businesses to thrive.

Mr. Hamidu made the call during the official launch of Frontier Oil Ghana Limited's Ablekuma Branch in the Greater Accra Region.

He explained that the downstream petroleum industry remains a key pillar of the country's economy and therefore requires deliberate policies that encourage investment, efficiency and sustainable growth.

"The 24-hour economy system has the potential to transform businesses, create jobs and boost economic activities across various sectors, including the petroleum industry," he stated.

Mr. Hamidu further reaffirmed Frontier Oil Ghana Limited's commitment to delivering quality petroleum products and services to customers while contributing to national development.

The launch of the Ablekuma Branch marks another milestone in the company's expansion drive aimed at bringing efficient and reliable fuel services closer to consumers in the Greater Accra Region.

He expressed optimism that with increased government commitment and collaboration with industry stakeholders, the downstream petroleum sector would experience renewed growth and make greater contributions to Ghana's economic transformation agenda.
