W/N : A native Of Sefwi Dominebo Number 2 Has Been Arrested For Allegedly butchering Two Brothers

The Bibiani District Police command has arrested about 40-year-old man Kwabena Badu for allegedly butchering two brothers with a sharp machete at Sefwi Dominebo number two in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.

Narrating the cause with Bibianinews.com, the elderly victim Yaw nsowa 40-years-old said while he was in his house the suspect came and informed him that when he returned from his farm, his dry cocoa beans at his backyard has been stolen of which he suspects his younger brother to be the one.

He added that while they were urging on the issue, a slight misunderstanding ensued between his younger brother, Alfred Nkrumah, and Kwabena Badu.

In the course of the verbal exchange between them, Kwabena Badu sternly warned that he would end his brother’s life he however, was serious with his threat, and quickly went to his house and grabbed a machete and butchered his bother so when he tried to save his brother then the suspect pound on him too.

Yaw nsowa disclosed that a friend who was at the crime scene carried both victims to the Sefwi Dominebo number Two clinic for medical treatment.

He said suspect tried escaping after the committing the crime, but he was nabbed by residents in the community who handed him to the police.

“We all lived happily in the community for many years and I don’t even know what is wrong with the suspect we don’t have any problem with.

He appealed to government and its agencies for justice.
