Former Member of Parliament for the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency, Hon. Kingsley Aboagy-Gyedu, has stated that his foremost concern is the New Patriotic Party’s ability to reclaim the parliamentary seat from the National Democratic Congress (NDC), rather than any personal ambition to contest the seat.

Speaking to the media, Hon. Aboagy-Gyedu emphasized that unity and victory for the NPP in the constituency should take precedence over individual aspirations.

According to him, the most important objective is for the NPP to present a strong candidate who can successfully retrieve the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai parliamentary seat from the NDC, regardless of who eventually leads the party into the next election.

He stressed that it does not matter whether the candidate is Hon. Alfred Obeng-Boateng, Kingsley Aboagy-Gyedu himself, Adjei Manu, or any other party member, as long as the person is capable of winning back the seat for the NPP.

Hon. Aboagy-Gyedu noted that internal unity and collective effort will be crucial in achieving victory, urging party supporters to put aside personal differences and focus on strengthening the party’s grassroots base.

He further called on party executives, elders, and supporters in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency to work together and rally behind whoever emerges as the party’s candidate, describing unity as the key weapon needed to defeat the NDC.

He concluded by reaffirming his commitment to supporting any individual chosen by the party to lead the NPP’s campaign, stressing that reclaiming the parliamentary seat remains the ultimate goal for the party.
